New Plan

Hello There Blogosphere! Long time no see!!!

We are completely moved and starting to get re-settled. The process of moving was easier than I thought and that was a huge blessing. We love, Love, LOVE our new place and are looking forward to the good times ahead!

The move proved to be a blessing in numerous ways. We had the internet disconnect for a week before we officially moved and I discovered that just a mere week break from facebook drastically changed my desire to check it. It was refreshing to not have that pull of computer. This made me think about blogging.

The original purpose of this blog was to update family and friends (but mainly family) about things going on in our lives. And while I am still doing that, I often struggle with how vague I have to be about details because this is after all a web address and not very private. I feel like in all the vagueness I’m not really giving a good updates. In addition, life is getting busier. We’re not pregnant again, but that idea isn’t too far off. We want more kids and I want to homeschool, and garden, and craft, and read more, and make yummy meals from scratch, and line dry my clothes, and… well, you can see how blogging weekly needs to take more of a back seat for me to be better at my job.

So, my solution is to do a quarterly update via email. I plan on continuing to flood my facebook account with pictures of John (after all pictures are worth a 1000 words, right?). But by emailing specific people I will be able to share details and be a bit more personal because I will have control over who receives our update.

The plan is to do the first one this September and then one around Christmas and so on. So if you would like to start receiving my updates comment below or email me at fallonstar@gmail.com... Or tell me in person if you see me often enough!
