Early this week I noticed some silks popping out of our corn stocks. I just wanted to share the photos for everyone. I need to call Steven's grandmother because we have no idea when to harvest. It's Indian corn so I would like to dry it out, however I also need to know when to do that. Steven still wants to try to eat it.... :/
I'm having trouble being patience with the corn. I so badly want to break into one and see what it would look like. Those silly shucks are tempting! I want to know what is going on behind them. However, it is one less decoration I could give away. Steven says it's not worth it.... but I still want to see... especially because it is Indian corn. Maybe we will grow it again next year and I can peak early.
