John LOVES to be swaddled! He has to feel snug or he won't sleep. All I have to do is swaddle him and he sleeps like a champ. I still think it's kinda crazy that he doesn't cry or make a single noise when he is swaddled and on his way to dream land. Often time I will walk into the room to check on him and I will turn on the lights and he will stay asleep! Swaddling for this kid is the best!
There was one problem though... he is long baby and the traditional swaddle just wouldn't work for him. This resulted in a lot of wrap or swing time. One of my friends showed me how to do this swaddle and it takes him quite a while to break out of it (like 8 hours... so it's great for night time). I made a video so that I will remember it for the next kiddo and to help any Moms out there with extra long babes (and for grandparents who can't get enough videos of John).
