I've been a bad blogger... I didn't make a special post for my son's birthday.
Shame on me.
We have visitors in and lots of fun activities for John's birthday.... some fun for him and some fun for me (like date night with Steven & getting compost for our gardens).
However, I HAD to share this immediately because it makes me laugh so hard (as you will see in the video).
We went to Blue Bell today because I wanted John's first ice cream to be there ... and well, I wanted to go! Anyway, here is an AWESOME video of the experience!
Haha, if only Lucy felt that way. She loves ice cream so I can only eat it at night after she has gone to bed. Thats probably for the best anyway though.

My friend forwarded it to me and while I'm glad to know, its also kind of a bummer. Our seat goes rear until 45lbs so unless she becomes a summo toddler she will definitely be that way until 2 even though I think it will be a lot easier once I can turn her around. But at least the car seat doesn't make her vomit anymore :-)
You're right, that was too cute to wait to share!!! I love that he refused it finally altogether. And you have the proof on video when he doesn't believe you later in life. :)
