What a great Man!

I've very proud. I'm proud of Steven!!!!

This semester our church is offering an Old Testament Survey Class. In addition to doing Monday night English Conversation Class, he has also signed up for the Old Testament Class. I'm not involved with these things because of school... I'll have to catch up when I graduate.

Anyway, he went to class and some of the requirements include reading 1-2 chapters of the text book and about 50 chapters of the Old Testament each week. It's a lot of reading... but he is going to do it... he will just have to give up reading the newspapers.

I have to admit, when he told me about it I tried to talk him out of it. But he persisted and started working on the readings.

After thinking about it more it made me smile. This will help Steven in his quest to lead our family spiritually. It's not something he is doing with me or because I thought it was a good idea. It's all on his own. And hopefully our kiddos will have questions about the bible and God's truth... and now Steven can guide us through the Old Testament.

EXCITING!

Something that isn't as exciting is sneezing! Yup folks, fall is here! and I've got the allergies to prove it. Man, I LOVE the Brazos Valley!
